Natalie Portman vs. Michelle Rodriguez

In a word: Squish.

In two words: Ow. Squish.

Don?t get me wrong, Natalie fought valiantly, relying on her speed and small size to bob and weave around the larger girl, but once Michelle connected with a solid punch to her jaw, she had it in the bag. Still, Natalie refused to surrender.

After getting thrown into a corner, she managed to leap to the top turnbuckle and avoid Michelle?s charge, following it up with a figure four headscissors which she expertly turned into a hangmen?s noose. She flipped down and hung over the roped, holding on only with the power of her legs on Michelle?s throat. It looked like a surprise finish as Michelle couldn?t pry the powerful pythons off her neck.

So she went with it, flipping herself over and taking Natalie with her. Natalie got the worst of it. Michelle landed on her feet, but still stumbled back. Still, she managed to get on her feet first and put Natalie back down with a running knee to the head.

Michelle then picked her up and carried her into the ring. Well, carried her until the ropes, at least. Then she just chucked her in. Natalie rolled up a bit, balling around her head, as Michelle lazily entered. Natalie gave her a good shin kick as she got closer?so Michelle just dropped both knees on Natalie back. Natalie howled as Michelle stood up near her head and grabbed Natalie by the hair. Hauling her up with ease she then reached under Natalie?s arms and locked on a massive bear hug. Normally, bear hugs would secure the arms, and Natalie fought back as best she could, but the repeated head shots wore her down heavily and Michelle?s strong arms did their work, crushing the life out of the thinner girl.

Natalie pushed against Michelle, trying to pull herself free, slapped her face and boxed her ears, but Michelle held firm. Natalie?s strength waned quickly and she was soon unable to hold herself up and slumped over the latina, gasping for breath, her arms hanging limply to the side.

Michelle shook the waif back and forth several times, rolling her in her arms and eliciting pained moans from her opponent. But Natalie grit her teeth and continued to squirm.

Until Michelle roared, lifted Natalie into the air and slammed Natalie to the mat with such power, she bounced twice. Splayed out for the world to see, Natalie was out cold.

That concluded the winner?s bracket that day and as Natalie was scrapped off the mat, a break was given as the next row of fighters got ready.

Losers Bracket Day 2:

Jessica Alba vs. Rosario Dawson

This was an intense match, with Rosario dominating early on, but with Jessica working with her legs to interrupt, trip up and land some fierce kicks and trips. The end of the match began after Jessica was crushed against the turnbuckle by a flying body splash.

Jessica let out a groan as she slid to the bottom, lined up right for a series of stomps from the larger girl. After a short burst of them, and one follow up for insurance, Rosario lifted Jessica up by the neck and slammed her back to the turnbuckle. Leaving the stunned girl hanging there for but a moment, Rosario turned and slammed herself into Jessica with a powerful body splash. Jessica didn?t fall, however, and when Rosario went for a second body splash with a longer lead time, there was no one there to greet her.

With Rosario momentarily stunned, Jessica pounced on her. Jessica rammed her head against the turn buckle to keep Rosario seeing stars before pulling her into a powerful knee to the gut. With Rosario doubled over, Jessica bent down and wrapped her arms around her gut, pressing her breasts against the darker woman?s back.

Bracing her legs, Jessica tried to go for a suplex, but Rosario?s instincts were too good and she blocked it with a simple hold around the latin lovely. Rosario tried to stand up, but Jessica kept her bent over, gritting her teeth. The tug of war drew them to the center of the ring until Jessica let her legs up and dropped the both of them to the ground, Rosario landing face first. Her face could only turn away as Jessica lay on top of her and scrambled down Rosario?s sweaty back, locking on a reverse head scissors and bear hug on the larger woman. Rosario pushed herself up to begin her counter offensive, but Jessica rolled with it and ended up on the bottom, leaving Rosario facing the unforgiving Caribbean sun and nothing to gain leverage from. Leaving her only the option to continue rolling.

It?s an odd thing, a rolling choke duel. It?s a desperate move. It does little to no damage, but serves as an easily countered set up. If anything, it just shows the will of the fighter.

Rosario had a lot of will. They damn near rolled around the entire ring two times over. Still, it was only delaying the inevitable. Her labored breaths and force behind the shoves to roll herself over diminished in power, eventually leaving her unable to more than pull on Jessica?s vice-like grip.

Rosario?s struggles didn?t fade quickly, but they did fade. Rosario?s weakness apparent, Jessica maneuvered her legs into a figure four head scissors and brought renewed struggles from the drained amazon. The new struggles had vigor, but did not last long. Rosario passed out, letting both her arms fall from their clawing attacks against Jessica?s pythons.

Rolling Rosario off her, Jessica took a moment to stand, but still felt the need to put a foot on the small of her opponents back and call out a victory cry. It was a close one, but she wanted to show she wasn?t done yet.

Unlike Rosario.

Lexa Doig vs. Anne Hathaway

This match was something of a surprise, with both ladies doing quite wonderfully. Endgame came around as Lexa had Anne in a body scissors, bringing the brunette to her knees. Lexa lay on her back, arching up and put everything into the hold. It looked damn brutal. Anne struggled against the hold instinctively before her training kicked in—she went first for Lexa’s chest. Clawing until the woman gave a growling howl of pain.

The attack apparently loosened the hold, letting Anne get a foot on the ground. From there, she grabs Lexa’s sides and stood up, leaving her in the perfect power bomb position.

And power bomb she did. The first slam did not even loosen Lexa’s scissors.

The second rattled her.

The third broke the hold.

The fourth did even more damage.

Anne collapsed atop her smaller opponent right after the fourth one. Left gasping for air, the two lay there in a heap.

They did not move for some time. Anne got up on her hands and knees first, and noticed Lexa stirring as well. Anne’s face hardened before she rammed her knee up between Lexa’s legs. I admit, I cringed in sympathy pain as she howled and bent forward. She lacked the strength to sit up, though and flopped back to the mat. An elbow to the face kept her from rolling over as she brought her hands to guard her injured organs.

Anne moved herself up Lexa’s writhing form, straddling the smaller woman’s arms and stomach with her legs. Sitting firmly atop her foe, she smirked as the endgame appeared in her sights.

Apparently, she didn’t plan that far ahead.

Slowly, Anne peeled off her top and tossed it aside, to the hoots of the crowd. She then picked Lexa up by a fistful of hair and brought her to meet Anne’s twins. With her hands being sat on, Lexa could only kick her legs and let futile sounds escape her mouth as Anne suffocated the older actress, Anne’s decently sized, firm breasts holding a tight seal over her.

Lexa didn’t last long. When the bell was called, Anne let Lexa drop. Anne’s head bounced as it hit the mat.

Anne stood up and towered over her opponent, putting her top back on (damnit) before commenting, “That’s how it’s done!” as she put her foot on Lexa’s heaving chest.

I do believe Jessica has just been shown up.

Grace Park vs. Scarlett Johanson

Height and reach count for a lot in a fight. With a difference verging on 5 inches between Grace and Scarlett, many would say it would play an important factor in this match. In the last round, it didn?t do jack against Chiaki?s Beast Mode.

But Scarlett didn?t have that, so it might actually do something. She did have boobs, though. Scarlett?s a grappler more than a striker and that could prove advantageous, what with her lower center of gravity and all. And for a bit early on, it did. Unfortunately for her, though, Grace knew her way around the ring too well and pretty much manhandled Scarlett in this outing.

Scarlett tried to get in close, but Grace threw her around whenever she tried to get a hold on the taller woman. A shove here, suplex there and a hip toss for good measure. Scarlett spent a lot of time on her back breathing hard.

Okay, that sentence just happened.

Near the end, Grace wrapped her fingers around Scarlett?s throat. At first in a basic choke, then she shifted it into a choke-slam, completely winding Scarlett. With her seeing stars, Grace decided to kick her while she was down. Stomp her too, leaving Scarlett moaning in the fetal position to protect her soft belly. Not that it wasn?t muscled, but there are some pretty important organs around there.

A sharp kick to the head got Scarlett sprawling on her back again. Grace decided that she was subdued enough to grapple the blonde. Straddling the smaller girl and pinning Scarlett?s arms under her knees, and clawed her breasts. Scarlett, groaned and fought back the urge to scream, but there wasn?t much she could do. She even attempting to wrap her legs around the Asian?s head only ended up getting her in a matchbook pin.

When Grace tired of this hold, she let Scarlett lay there moaning for a moment, savoring the anticipation of her next move. She stood up, grabbing Scarlet by the hair and placed the blonde?s head between her knees as Scarlett was barely able to stand on her feet.

Grace dropped down and laid Scarlett out with a facebuster, driving her face into the mat and leaving her ass in the air.

Grace wrapped her arms around Scarlett?s sweat slicked belly and brought her up again. This time, she hoisted Scarlet up and upended her, setting her up or a devastating pile driver. After the slam reverberated, the blonde fell to the mat with a limp bounce.

10 seconds later, she was declared unconscious, the only movement being an involuntary twitch or two in her hands and legs.

Freida Pinto vs. Zoe Saldana

Freida is a sportswoman, and approached the match as such, a smile and an offered handshake. Zoe . . . took the handshake, but was not very sportswoman like during the match. Freida put up with it and landed some pretty solid moves. At one point, she had Freida in a Boston Crab. In this tourney, there were no rope breaks. Zoe was forced to twist and kick until Freida’s grip was lost.

Zoe got up to her feet pretty quickly thanks to the corner ropes, and Freida let her up. Probably a mistake, really. Freida went for an elbow check, to ram her fellow actress into the corner, but Zoe spun out and let her eat it instead. Zoe moved swiftly after that, grabbing Freida by the hair and ramming her head into the turnbuckle three times in a row. Zoe grabbed her opponent by the hair and turned her around, letting the women face each other. With her belly open, Zoe laid into her with three consecutive knee strikes to Freida’s abs. Freida doubled over, clutching her stomach, but was forced back up by a chop across the chest.

Zoe then followed that up with a monkey flip that flung the Indian woman into the center of the ring. Freida clutched her back as Zoe climbed to the second rope. Freida rolled onto her hands and knees as Zoe took to the air and crashed her elbow into Freida’s back, laying her out flat.

It took a moment for her to recover, but Zoe user her dominant position to hold Freida down. Straddling the Indian’s shoulders, Zoe wrapped her fingers underneath Freida’s jawline and pulled her back in a camel clutch.

Freida’s hands flailed and she kicked in expressions of pain, but soon adjusted to the hold and began working to free herself. Freida tried to get up to her knees, but Zoe pulled back to far for that to work. neither could she muscle out of the hold. She bucked her hips up to try and dislodge the Dominican woman, but did not do so entirely.

But she did see an opportunity.

With one more buck, she used the reprieve it provided to get to her knees and then push herself up from underneath Zoe. Zoe held on and turned the move into a hanging sleeper hold. This almost brought Freida down again, but she stabilized herself and rammed Zoe into the turnbuckle back first. The first blow rocked Zoe, but the second one she was ready for. After the slam, she locked her legs around the turnbuckle and held on. Freida tried to pull away, but like a chain leash holding a pit-bull, it didn’t give.

Zoe pulled her back in and then leapt off the top rope. She spun around Freida and planted her in the canvas with a DDT. The momentum of the driver flipped Freida onto her back, leaving her in an absolute daze when Zoe applied the finishing blow: a face sit that would make J-Lo proud.

Freida was left a quivering mass on the mat within seconds and Zoe moved on, ready to face Grace Park in the next round.

With the day’s matched finished, the Open Rounds also began. Eliminated combatants could be asked by patrons (or request it themselves) to perform in a match of their choosing. They could accept or decline as they saw fit, but they were now fair game for each other.

The tournament may have narrowed, but I figured there’d be about the same number of matches.

Made me wish I could make a request, but as the help, I got diddly.
